ATH-AD700July 7, 2009 - February 11, 2011  Audio started cutting out in the left can over the weekend. Tried to open ‘em up but those screws must’ve been glued in. Plus I can’t solder for shit. But you expect a $90 pair of headphones to last, what, five years maybe? I had those Sony MDRs for over a decade, on three continents!  So BOO audio-technica, BOO! So I am going to try the Grado sr60s… Despite my suspicion that they will be uncomfortable. (Grado Labs is only 2.1 miles away from my house! And “Grados are FANTASTIC for guitar rock/metal!” But I’m gonna get ‘em thru Amazon — in case I gotta return ‘em.) (You can too!)
